The main objective of this research work is to contribute to the development of oleochemicals as a new brand of co-formulant agricultural inputs. The starting point of this research is the chemistry of glycerol carbonate esters, which showed that the cyclocarbonate group has dipolar properties, high dielectric constant, excellent solvent capacity, and excellent surface active ability. We hypothesized that the oligomerization of glycerol carbonate esters would provide a strong candidate as an agrochemical herbicide adjuvant, complexing agent and encapsulation. The main thrusts are the synthesis of pure glycerol carbonate esters and their oligomers. In addition to the analysis and structural determination, we have obtained a new proven chemical synthesis methodology to produce new biobased oligomers, while complying with REACH regulations and maintaining the promise of agricultural application performance presented in four patents (Method of Synthesis of Acylglycerol Oligomers, Organic Acylglycerol Oligomers, Use of Acylated Carbonic Esters
