Follow how a seed magically beats the odds time and time again, to transform the world. A seed has many ways to move and make the world green. Rich, detailed black and white illustrations splashed with color tell the story of how different seeds travel. Milkweed uses feathery tails and wind to travel. Autorenporträt
Flora Caputo is an award-winning advertising creative director and food and lifestyle blogger turned pollinator advocate and author. Her blog and social spaces cultivate a creative community where she shares her gardening and food passions. It was this connection of gardening and food that drove curiosity and advocacy for the world's pollinators, who are a necessary link in the global food chain. Their depleting numbers inspired Flora to write, hand-illustrate and publish her recent books, "Summer's Flight. Pollen's Delight", "BEE NATIVE! Flower Power", "BEENATIVE! Flower Pot Power" and "B is for Bee, P is for Pollen". She hopes her "BEE NATIVE!" book series makes choosing and planting native plants less daunting for the everyday gardener, and in turn helps bring back pollinators.
