Autorenporträt
Gabrielle Prendergast is an award-winning writer, teacher and designer. She has written many books for young people including the Sheila A. Egoff Children's Literature Prize winner Zero Repeat Forever and the Westchester Award winner Audacious. She lives in Vancouver with her family. Sophie Benmouyal is a freelance illustrator based in Montreal, Canada. After working as a graphic designer for a few years, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a freelance children's book illustrator. From her home studio, she likes to explore colors and textures while experimenting with different techniques. Her two full-of-life little girls are her main source of inspiration by reminding her daily of the importance of dreams and play. They are also an excellent excuse for her compulsive children's book buying.
