Autorenporträt
Collie W. Conoley, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Director of the Carol Ackerman Positive Psychology Center at University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to academe, he has worked in community mental health, private practice, inpatient hospital, day treatment center, and university counseling center. His research interests include positive psychology, psychotherapy process and outcome research, multicultural psychology as well as individual, couple and family psychology. Michael J. Scheel, PhD, ABPP, is a Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and the Director of Training of the UNL graduate program in counseling psychology. He is the associate editor of The Counseling Psychologist and an APA Fellow of Division 17. He was the 2014 recipient of the Shane Lopez Distinguished Contributions to Positive Psychology Award and the 2016 Outstanding Training Director Award. His primary research interest is applications of positive psychology in psychotherapy and in prevention of high school dropouts.
