Debra Moody Bass is Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL. She received her B.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Drew College in Madison, NJ; and her M. Div from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ. Dr. Bass is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.
