Joseph B. Frederick, PhD, has many fond memories of his personal life as well as his professional life, a career that spanned almost forty years. He had many different positions, more than average. Each one had its own unique contribution to his life. He invites you to come with him and share his many adventures, some of which he would not have believed possible. There are many interesting stories or vignettes, easy to read in just a few paragraphs. Joseph B. Frederick was born in Willard, Ohio, in October 1944. He came from a family of six children. After graduation from Willard High School, he attended and graduated from John Carroll University and Bowling Green State University. He worked in the area of developmental disabilities for almost forty years and grew to know many special people. He coauthored the book Manual for Constructive Leisure Time Activities and authored the book People + Me and authored and coauthored several national publications. Joe is retired and lives in New Rochester, Ohio (near Pemberville), with the love of his life, Kathy. They were blessed with two sons, Joe II and Mark; two awesome grandsons, Zachary and Joshua; and a very special daughter-in-law, Tara.
