Autorenporträt
The author is a retired college lecturer who has lived in East Shropshire for over 40 years. In 2014 he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, robbing him of the use of his arms and legs. Having been an active walker, climber and skier, he has redirected his energies into a life-long passion for writing. Recently he published a collection of short stories, Tales From the Hill, and his autobiography, Hard Day's Journey into Night. He is a keen historian, and feels privileged to live in an area which is rich in Roman and industrial archaeology.
