One year later her minister son returns to Cuba and retrieves the "gift." As he boards his airliner to come home..with the gift in hand he recounts its backstory to minister companions. Eavesdropping on this conversation is a journalist who, visibly moved, hands the son his business card stating that this is a story that must be told. This is that story.
