Follow Bruce through adventures across the Alaskan wilderness. Many dangers must be faced and overcome - plane crashes, grizzlies, frostbite - all before a hopeful homecoming can even be prayed for. Along the way, Bruce will rely on his faith and see divine miracles proving that God is in control even in the magnificent landscapes and mountains of Alaska. God of the Brooks is a fictional narrative based on real-life events from the author's life.

Autorenporträt
Bruce Hamilton was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He moved to Alaska with his parents and siblings in February, 1968 when he was 9 years old. That first summer in Alaska found him streamside, fishing with his dad or alone, building a "fort" in the wilderness near his house. The woods quickly took a liking to Bruce and he to them.Since his dad was a preacher and his mother a Sunday School teacher, he learned to love the bible stories at a very young age. This greatly affected how he viewed creation. At the age of 14, Bruce began teaching the bible to other kids his age and soon decided this was God's calling upon his life. In 1981, He graduated from a Christian university in Tennessee and in 1982 married Lena Rose Ropke.Bruce now pastors a church in Fairbanks where he and his wife serve together. They have one son, Jonathan, who is also a pastor and lives in Minnesota with his wife and two daughters.Bruce enjoys shepherding the church with which he has been entrusted, traveling to Asian countries with his wife for the purpose of sharing the gospel and training Asian pastors and of course, he loves the great outdoors. He also loves to write and is currently documenting the miraculous leading of God in his and Lena's lives, drawing them towards the Asian people. The soon-to-be released book is entitled: "The Story of Row 6."
