Silvia Schwarz Linder holds a PhD in South Asian Studies from the Institute of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies, Vienna University, Austria. She is currently a Research Associate at the Institute for Indology and Central Asian Studies, Leipzig University, Germany and Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, UK.
