God's Breath is a tale of Ja'Kari's choice when looking different becomes a problem. Another way of looking at each of us is offered, and a question presented. How do we treat the most precious thing we come in contact with everyday. This story will provoke questions and conversation.

Since I've gotten quite a few new people following my page, I'd like to share a little bit about me and my background! I'm a proud father, grandfather and military veteran. I was born in the south. I grew up in Ohio. I went to Catholic schools, was an altar boy, while practicing the Baptist faith. I read from an early age. My parents had a small library on the shelves of my bedroom closet. I would sit up many nights reading. 1980 Guinness book of world records was amongst the books on those shelves. JD Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye" was another. My fifth-grade teacher told me I shouldn't be reading it. It was my second time through it. "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill was another. I grew up reading. Writing has always been a hobby. In high school I played football, acted in the school plays and danced in the ensemble. I also read "To Kill a Mockingbird" , "Othello" and the like. After the military I attended college. No matter what my major, and I've had several, I always worked in a composition class when I attended Cincinnati State.I stayed at and eventually worked at the Drop Inn Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.I'm a veteran. I've been a federal employee at the Cincinnati VA. I've been a computer programmer for Lafayette Steel in Detroit and a bus monitor in Bay County Florida. I was a diabetic on insulin weighing 400 pounds. I'm no longer a diabetic and have lost over 100 pounds! God's Breath is my first faith-based children's book. My hope is that it will be a blessing to you and your family!
