There is hope in the most difficult trials of life, but we have to look for it. To get through those hard times is possible and it happens on many occasions with people in different places. I have learned that with God all things are possible and that healing does happen. It is possible to be healed and to become a whole person inside yourself. I was healed with God's help, and so can anyone if they put their trust in him. He is the Hope, the person who is just a prayer away.

Patricia suffers from a mental illness due to being drugged by someone in her twenties. She has learned to manage this mental illness and has been able to write books and work full-time as a postal worker for over thirty years. Patricia has a heart for those who have been really hurt by circumstances and by others in their lives. Patricia is very active in the Christian church and hopes one day to be a trauma counselor for a church. She also desires to be an author and to write many books on mental illness and everyday trials in a person's life. She enjoys Bible college and attends classes throughout the year. Patricia will be retiring soon from the postal service and is now fifty-four years old. She looks very forward into retiring from the postal service so that she can spend a great deal of time writing in order to help those who are hurting. Patricia is from South Carolina and moved to California in 1985 on a Greyhound bus with sixty dollars in her pocket. She built her life in California from having nothing and now has hope for the future.
