Donald Healey grew up in Santa Paula, California, "Citrus Capital of the World." After graduating high school, he attended the University of California at Riverside, California State University Humboldt, and Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. Over the years, He has worked a variety of different jobs: stock clerk, farm laborer, janitor, pot washer, computer programmer, bicycle mechanic, systems analyst, agricultural inspector, information systems administrator, and probably a couple that he has forgotten. Today, Donald is happily married and live and write in Prescott, Arizona.
