Author Heather S. Coombes was born in India. She was educated in NSW, Australia. Her career path followed librarianship and later the ordained Christian ministry, specifically in aged care chaplaincy. Now retired, she lives in the Redlands, Queensland. She is the author of Marathon Wheeler: Living with Physical Disability and The Many Faces of Grief: Pathways to healing. Reading, writing, swimming, and pastoral ministry are pleasurable pastimes.
