The history of Divine dealings with human beings is replete with promises made and promises kept. The history of Divine dealings with human beings is replete with promises made and promises kept. In the composition of the Bible itself, we read promises declared and ultimately, faithfully fulfilled, sometimes centuries apart. The proofs are undeniable in scripture. Not one promise was left undone. God's fulfilled promises and His eternal love are undeniable in contemporary human history, too. Many of these modern examples are recorded in the accounts in this book. My account is one of them. True stories related here are living and lasting testimonies to the indelible fact of the follow-through of God Almighty in the lives of real people, proven in space and time. God's reliability is not a theory, a wish, or an imagined dream. It's real, which is why it is deemed "reliable." The Bible is a book of redemption. The Promises of God are proclaimed with one purpose: to redeem human beings. Belief in that truth requires faith. Redemption is possible through God's grace alone. As you read each true account in this book, you will instantaneously recognize a definitive trend: God is gracious, faithful, and honors His commitments, each and every one, all the time. These stories are all about fulfillment of God's promises for our good. In a day and time when so many world-driven promises are uttered and left uncompleted, it is eternally reassuring that all of the Promises of God can be counted on, because He Is Faithful. Trusting wholeheartedly in God's Promises is not a far-fetched and "hope-inspired" concept. It's a literal, down-to-earth, provable reality in a God who never wavers or fails. We can trust Him with every fiber of our beings.God's Promises* Every One Fulfilled * He Is Faithful* You Can Count on It! is all about God's eternal faithfulness and reliability. You and I can, and must, trust God. He has never failed to honor His commitments. The history of Divine dealings with human beings is replete with promises made and promises kept. In my Bible for study every morning from the New International Version (NIV), footnotes throughout scripture point up fulfillment, listing the exact scripture where a promise was first declared. It's remarkable. Not one promise was left undone.Perhaps the greatest promise and fulfillment upon which the Christian faith rests, is Jesus Christ: His birth, life, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection. That fulfilled story sets Biblical faith apart. It demands our attention and ultimately, our devotion.A key scripture says, "The Lord will work out his plans for my life ..." Note the word, "will." This speaks to an ongoing process, not a conclusion already experienced, though the conclusion is sure when God is working on our behalf. The bottom line: God's faithful love endures forever, through every process which involves us. We can rely on that truth. That fact alone is cause enough to put our lives in God's hands. David declared, "God is working out His plans for my life."What God says is unshakable. He cares for you and me and will forever fulfill and honor His Words of Promise.

Autorenporträt
Glen Aubrey is an author, publisher, professional musician, and consultant. He is father of two (a daughter and a son), and grandfather of eight (five boys and three girls). His personal story is one of many illustrations in his latest book, God's Promises * Every One Fulfilled, of God's Promises and fulfillments in Glen's life personally and professionally, really since early college, and down through life's events ever since. His "life verse" is Psalm 118:14, "The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation." (KGV) His personal account recorded in God's Promises * Every One Fulfilled illustrates graphically and truthfully how God has met longings and needs beyond human expectations, and often to the complete amazement of doctors and medical professionals. Some people close to Glen describe these life-sustaining Divine interventions as "miracles." Glen agrees. According to Glen, "God's salvation comes through Divine intervention and often through His people. I have personally witnessed and experienced both." These lyrics may express it well from the Song, "Reflect", an original song by Glen Aubrey, © 1972, Glen Aubrey * All Rights Reserved: Chorus: Pause a moment and reflect/On what the Lord has done for you,/With a heart that's filled praise,/In the Spirit of love and truth. (1) Think of the blessings that you've received/And the fullness of His presence since you've believed;/Think of His gifts of love and grace:/These are things we can't replace. (2) Life is the greatest within His will,/And the future He has promised is better still!/Jesus gave all so you and I/Now may live and never die./Chorus.An Emmy ® Award Winner in 2012, Glen's testimony of God's Faithfulness inspires those who read his account. In this latest book, God's Promises, many Contributors join with Glen in affirming, through their own true stories, that God's Promises are *always* kept. Perhaps the greatest promise and fulfillment upon which the Christian faith rests, is Jesus Christ: His birth, life, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection. That fulfilled story sets Biblical faith apart. It demands our attention and ultimately, our devotion.
