Autorenporträt
Rev. John Gishler has 30 years experience in parish and healing ministry and lives in Calgary, Canada, with his wife Lucille. He is active in interim and healing prayer ministry, spiritual direction and shares over 270 teachings on the weekly lectionary Readings, healing prayer ministry on his blog www.spirituallifeteaching.info. During the Covid-19 lockdown he live streamed 16 weekly participatory communion services on his "John Gishler" YouTube Channel and posted links and teachings on how to be a home church. Prior to ordination in 1991 Fr. John worked as a high school teacher in Kenya and pioneered in the automation of libraries as a professional librarian and Library Director. In 1985 Lucille and he founded their consulting partnership the "Gishler Group: Library and Information Systems Consultants" which evolved from establishing libraries to paper then electronic records management systems and most recently on-demand print and ebook publishing.
