Philip Ripley Ward, an independent golf professional and teacher since 1979 virtually, "Circled the mountain" for forty years. Only in the more recent past, and after recovering from a nervous breakdown, did he surrender the thought and trying process, to turn all of his faith and trust to God. During those many miles of frustration, he relied on talent (a gift - not a possession) to shoot mostly in the mid to low seventies, with an occasional high sixties, rarely. Now, he regularly plays in the mid to high sixties, with low sixties popping up from time to time. His personal best - 28 for nine holes (par 36) is his favorite accomplishment along with 4 aces, thus far. God can change everything for the best if you can imagine, believe and trust in His power.
