Stephen Oliver - Australasian poet and author of 17 volumes of poetry. Travelled extensively. Signed on with the radio ship The Voice of Peace broadcasting in the Mediterranean out of Jaffa, Israel. Free-lanced as production voice, narrator, newsreader, radio producer, columnist, copy and feature writer, etc. Lived in Australia for 20 years. Currently living in NZ. Oliver's poems have been translated into Chinese, Spanish, Russian and German and his work is well represented in international literary journals. His essays and poetry, for instance, have regularly appeared over the decades in Antipodes: A Global Journal of Australian and New Zealand Literature. Oliver, as a professional voice artist, has also recorded his poetry on many platforms, including a CD titled: KING HIT with original music composed by the award winning Australian picture book illustrator and composer, Matt Ottley.
