The face of war is about to change forever. The Kingdom of Navarre is developing a new weapon that threatens to upend the balance of power with its neighbors, and has sparked a mad scramble within the Boehman Empire to discover the nature of this new threat. Drawn by the promise of a windfall she cannot possibly decline, Elsabeth Soesten makes her way to the City of Carcassonne on an assignment for His Imperial Majesty. Her mission: To find a way into one of the most heavily-guarded sites in Navarre and secure this new weapon. But more than just her life is on the line, as Elsabeth races against time for the opportunity to correct the greatest mistake she ever made. Set in a world based upon mid-15th Century Western Europe, Gonnes of Navarre continues The Adventures of Elsabeth Soesten. The series follows the travels and travails of mercenary adventuress Elsabeth Soesten through genre-blending encounters with unscrupulous clergy, manipulative lords, and dangerous outlaws. Armed with only the skill of her own sword-arm and the sharpness of her wit, Elsabeth seeks to make her fortune on her own terms, while wreaking havoc on a society where few things are more certain to cause a scandal than an independent woman.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
