The city we now know is bursting at the seams with crime, police brutality, and lack of education, limited employment, and political corruption that seem to know no limit. I hope to captures a piece of New Orleans that may have been washed away by the receding waters of the Katrina. These stories and characters are conceived in fiction but to many who read these pages, the characters and stories will give birth to places and people who actually come to life.
