Richie Davis won more than thirty-five regional news and featurewriting awards as a reporter and editor for more than forty years at the Recorder of Greenfield in western Massachusetts. Engaging environmental, political, and societal issues, he wrote dozens of in-depth series on topics ranging from nuclear power and the aging population to high-tech cottage industries. He won a Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting grant for coverage of an effort to foster cross-cultural dialogue.
