Join the Blacklocks as they journey beyond the postcard-familiar views and off the well-marked trails, uncovering the hidden beauty of the park. Craig Blacklock has worked as a nature photographer since 1976; Nadine Blacklock since 1982. Working in the tradition of Craig’s father, pioneer color nature photographer Les Blacklock, Craig and Nadine have photographed some of the most intriguing images of Minnesota ever captured on film. The Blacklocks’ work has appeared in numerous publications, including those of the National Wildlife Federation, the Audubon Society, and the Sierra Club. Craig and Nadine are also sole or co-photographers of eleven books. In 1993 the Blacklocks published The Lake Superior Images, winner of three 1994 Midwest Achievement Book Awards and a 1994 Minnesota Book Award.
