Everything can be a distraction for the wordsmith, but nothing else can truly hold the rapt attention of the wordsmith. With reverence, hope, resolve, and determination, we come to the altar of the blank page and write our offering. We bask in the belief of our Muse and the exaltation that our words please the audience. When we leave, we must have confidence that our form of prayer will reach far and wide so long as we share the Gospel of the Wordsmith.
