This work was carried out with the intention of determining the ways in which gossip can be found in literature, specifically in the work of the Argentinean writer Tomás Eloy Martínez. He is a journalist with a master's degree in literature. He works as a bridge between the need for academic studies in communication and the possibility of mixing literary studies in the approach to Latin American reality.
