Autorenporträt
Vincent Quatroche is a journeyman educator/irritant de jour teaching in the Communication Department @ SUNY in Western New York. He has been creating and publishing in book, audio and video formats for the past thirty five years which has been widely distributed and largely ignored in the US & abroad. He is veteran performance poet and increasing a disturbing presence of the East Village NYC Poetry circuit. Poet Bob Holman once remarked that Quatroche's work has circulated around the scene like a pen forgotten and lost in the washer on the agitation cycle and the cap hasn't come off....yet. His public readings are sometimes described as a cross between an emotional inquisition and cartooning of reality. Passive/Aggressive chip on the shoulder cryticism meets a world view askew with prose corkscrews where shaky picture sentences seduce the attention span to shelp upon the vowel landscape. The self-described underground Beat Matador from another planet currently languishing in fabulous obscurity here in the Rubber Eden plans to persist in his pursuit of the perfect Terrible Now existentialistic train wreck. The only real question is just on what track the derailment will be pulling into Gridville this time. For more info please visit www.rubbereden.com
