Autorenporträt
Tammy Hawk was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, raised in Aberdeen, Maryland and now resides in Alexandria, Louisiana with her two kids Sariah and JJ. Tammy comes from a deep rooted military family which enabled her to travel and get inspired to write. "I will never write about places I have not been to. I put myself in my characters shoes and ask myself what would I do in their situation. I guess I have a twisted mind, which is why I'm so creative." Tammy realized that she had a passion for writing around 11 years old. At 13 she wrote her first book which landed her in the hot seat with her mother due to it's erotic nature. She continued to let inspiration flow from a plethora of great authors such as Carl Weber, KiKi Swinson, Wahida Clark, Kwan, and Mary B. Morrison. In 2017, she decided the time is now or never to get her book in published. Tammy signed with Black Authors Ink Publications, debuting her talent with "Gotta Bmore Careful" in May 2017. Her goal is to make writing a full time career and make it to the big screen. And with her extraordinary talent she is well on her way.
