David Masamba Famode é doutorado em Economia, e autor de várias publicações científicas internacionais. Foi sucessivamente Vice-Reitor responsável pela Investigação, e Secretário-Geral Administrativo de 2014 a 2021 respectivamente na Universidade de Mbandaka, e no Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de Yakoma na RDC.
