Paul Kirby is senior lecturer in the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London and a codirector of the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub. Laura J. Shepherd is professor of international relations at the University of Sydney and a visiting senior fellow at the LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security.
