Patrick O'Reilly is a Teaching Fellow in Sociology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. He has over 30 years of applied and research experience in rural development. Helena Varkkey is an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She works on global palm oil politics and transboundary haze governance in Southeast Asia.
