The book examined the profile of security challenges in the North Central Nigeria in the Fourth Republic, examined the nexus between urban governance and security challenges in the study area, appraised the strategies put in place to combat security challenges in the selected states during the period under study and investigated the factors militating against the effort of government to tackle security challenges in the study area. These were with a view to assessing the effect of urban governance on security in the selected States.
