Faith is powerful. But it is not a contract clause that would force God to give us everything we want. We don't get everything we want just because we put faith into it. If the grace of God does not meet with faith, it is as ineffective as a stroke against God. Grace is God's foolishness that leads him to every pleasant and beneficent act for man who deserves absolutely nothing, at any time or place. More than thirty words, even more than thirty thousand words would not have been enough to say all its excellence... But grace has overwhelmed us so much that I cannot help speaking of it everywhere and in every way. Grace has been present throughout our entire existence: our past, our present and our future. Hence the urgency, for every living person, to discover grace and to take refuge in it, in order to experience its perfect work and to be able to rejoice at last in response to this grace.
