ONLY HUMANS BELIEVE IN MIRACLES and sing songs about happy little bluebirds flying over rainbows. However, the natural world does not allow for lullabies about dreams coming true. There is no magical place in the wild where miracles occur. In the wild, the seasons define how and where you live. Each day within those seasons is how we judge our success. For wolves, every living hour is a cause for celebration. Time is not something you lazily pass through for wolves until the next sunrise. Wolves consider every breathing moment a precious commodity cherished and held in the utmost high regard. In the human world, monsters exist, hunting and preying upon their kind. In the human world, working together to survive tends to get lost. Teamwork is replaced with hatred, and greed is polished by selfishness and ignorance. Regardless, all those human tendencies are ugly, dangerous, and forbidden within the wolf pack. Unfortunately, some human beings can be thick-skinned and not give a tinker's damn about the welfare of others. Inevitably, hatred, greed, stupidity, ignorance, and selfishness all have the same effect on the fate of the two-legged - occasionally allowing for grace on 395. Grace on 395 - A Gray Wolf 's Tale tells the story of the Mammoth wolf pack - A sprawling, epic adventure filled with danger, heartbreak, and daring sacrifice. The alpha female, Freya, narrates the story and takes the reader on a harrowing journey from Oregon to California as the wolf pack fights to survive in the wild. Ultimately, the pack's success depends on whether wolves can peacefully coexist with humans while searching for a new home.
