Caitriona Coyle was born and raised in a small village in Donegal. After attending college in Dublin, she taught English and Religion in a suburban secondary school there, for 30 years. Taking early retirement in 2012 gave her the freedom to concentrate on writing. The Big Smoke Writing Factory helped her find her voice, convincing her that "Gracie" was the story she really needed to tell.
