There are many opportunities open to Graduate Quantity Surveyors for gaining practical professional experience, some are relevant, and others are irrelevant to the mode of training they received at the University. Those opportunities are in two categories, namely training opportunities (such as Enhanced Articulate Pupilage Program (EAPP), Continuous Professional Development (CPD), seminars, workshops and pre-job training) and employment opportunities (such as public and private financial institutions, tertiary educational institutions, consultancy firms, construction companies, professional boards and dispute resolution committees). Novatus A. Mikapagaro ist Assistenzdozent am Fachbereich für Bauwirtschaft an der Ardhi University in Tansania. Er unterrichtet und betreut seit 2009 Dissertationen in den Bereichen Bauwirtschaft und -management. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Baumanagement, Risikomanagement, Bauwirtschaft und informelles Bauen.
