He began his senior career at Bohemians making his debut on January 3, 1997 after playing at youth level for Home Farm F.C. and was a bright young prospect throughout his time at the club, even finishing their top scorer in the 1997/98 season with 13 goals from 28 league games (4 as substitute). After being sent off against St Patricks Athletic 4 games into the 1999/2000 season, Graham moved to fierce rivals Shamrock Rovers F.C. making his Rovers debut on the 17th of October 1999 scoring his first goal in his next game. However despite 6 goals in 22 total appearances his time at Rovers was ruined by an achilles injury.
