Autorenporträt
Richard McLawhorn was born in 1943 and raised on a tobacco farm in eastern North Carolina, the oldest of seven children. He served as a naval officer during the Vietnam War. A retired public school teacher and administrator, he has traveled extensively in western Europe, Asia, and North America. Richard teaches history at Pitt Community College in Greenville, North Carolina.
