Kathy Bingle loves being a grandma! Always wanting to write children's books, it was only after her granddaughter Elizabeth's arrival that inspiration was birthed for her first book, "Grandma Jeanie Beanie and the Love Names". Kathy's own grandmother influenced what is now planned to be a series of children's books for parents and grandparents to love with their special little ones. Kathy is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in child development. Though her professional career over the past 30 years took her in a different direction, her love of children remained. As a mother to two adult children, Lana (who made her a grandmother!) and Tyler, Kathy is now enjoying and reaping the benefits of grandmother-hood. Kathy and her husband, Patrick, make their home in Beaver, PA and are happy their children and granddaughter live nearby!
