Autorenporträt
Nada J. Brown was born and raised in Sterling, IL. She now calls Bellefontaine, OH, home along with her husband and their cat. She is a mother, a grand-mother, and a great grandmother. A graduate of Goshen College with a BA in Elementary Education, Nada earned a Master of Education from Wright State University. A National Board-Certified Language Arts Teacher, Nada spent most of her career at Bellefontaine Middle School where she taught Language Arts. The International Library of Congress published several of Nada's poems and twice awarded her the Editor's Choice Award. For many years Nada has incorporated her gifts of wit and humor in her writing. This coupled with a strong faith in God have helped her cope with the many life challenges and obstacles she faced and continues to face. She believes in the power of the written word.Cassandra L. Wall Hassel, Cassie, lives in Bellefontaine, OH. She is a mother and a grandmother. Cassie began using her God-given gifts of drawing and painting at the early age of 5. She studied at the University of Cincinnati. Cassie is a member of the Logan County Art League and enjoys sharing her artwork including portraits, still-life, landscapes, seascapes, realism, and abstract. She works with a variety of media: acrylic, watercolor, pencil, pen, ink, and pastels. The use of color is her specialty. Cassie believes it takes passion, practice, patience, perseverance, and praise to develop one's talent as an artist. She welcomes commissioned artwork and offers limitless possibilities.
