Autorenporträt
Margaret L. Patterson is a retired elementary school teacher and graduate of Georgia State University and the University of Texas at El Paso. During Ms. Patterson's teaching career, she was named Benefield Elementary School Teacher of the Year for Gwinnett County Public Schools in Georgia. The inspiration for Grandpa Left Me came from a question Ms. Patterson's granddaughter asked on the day of her grandfather's funeral: "How can he see?" Ms. Patterson has two children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She currently lives in Georgia.
