Granny Carstairs is a fairy who is surprised to find herself aging, unlike her peers who remain forever young. This is due to an omission by the Great Fairy Creator who forgot an essential ingredient when Granny Carstairs was being made. The book follows Granny Carstairs' search for a solution to halt or reverse the aging process in the hope that she can be restored to the youthful fairy she was meant to be. The book is a fairy story aimed at 6-10 year olds. It contains difficult words which are explained in a glossary. The intention is that these can be viewed alongside each page so that the reader's vocabulary can be expanded at as early an age as possible.
