Granny Puckerlips is no ordinary granny. Moved by conviction to do the right thing, Granny's adventures begin when her old-school upbringing meets the local street culture. Though familiar to her grandkids, Emanuel and Hanna, Granny does her best to embrace a generation much different from her own. Exploring the whacky and unique world of her new homie friends, Granny shows kindness and respect toward others even when uncomfortable. Where Granny goes, whacky and outrageous things begin to happen, but Granny always reminds us of good manners and her timeless values.

Autorenporträt
Educated as an industrial designer, Rick Gales began his career designing adaptive equipment for disabled children before becoming a toy designer. For the past twenty-three years, he's worked as a sales and marketing executive at creative agencies in Portland, Oregon.

Rick's storytelling began in the ER when his two-year-old broke his leg at a Christmas party. Since the ER experience, the stories have grown into wild and whacky tales filled with outrageous, teachable moments and unusual characters. The story of Granny Puckerlips is the product of real-life experiences, some embellishments, and a lot of fun growing the legend of Granny P. in book form. Granny Puckerlips: Keepin' It Real with Kindness and Respect is Rick's first book.
