The research project carried out within the Laboratory of Research in Architecture of ENSA Toulouse was interested in the transformation of the image of a former industrial city of the Midi-Pyrénées region: Graulhet, in the Tarn. He has developed an interdisciplinary methodology that combines research with project practice and pedagogy, to assess the urban image inherited from this city and to determine the lines of a projected and shared urban image. It has supported reflections on contemporary changes with a scientific device that has placed art and architecture as a tool for mediation, consultation and concertation.
