Lars Lepperhoff ist in der Zucht und Forschung der privaten Papageienvoliere Hyacinthinus (Schweiz) tätig. Er ist zudem Redakteur (Zeitschrift "Gefiederter Freund), Züchterobmann der Exotis (Schweiz. Papageienzüchtervereinigung) und ehrenamtlich tätig für den WPT (World Parrot Trust).
