Avery Volz knew she wanted to be an author when she received her first journal at the tender age of eight. Today, she studies psychology at Penn State York and juggles three clubs, sixteen credits, and research-all in addition to writing! A mental health advocate, she loves writing about characters who struggle with their mental health to raise awareness and squash the stigma. She is also a world-renowned hip-hop dancer, dog lover, and avid reader. She currently lives in Pennsylvania. Gray Matter is her third novel.
