Real Life Gray Kitty Gray Kitty was truly a stray. Abandoned on a college campus, he was so emaciated that I thought he was a kitten. Soon I found that he had a urinary tract blockage and required major surgery. After surgery, Gray flourished. He gained weight and was "king of the cats" in my house. Gray taught me a lot about attitude. Nothing ever intimidated him- not even large dogs. Gray loved to jump into the shower. I think he liked the warmth and he didn't seem to mind getting wet. He'd always let me put him in a sink of warm water to keep his white paws sparkling. Gray ate so much that his tummy got big and round and I would laugh about him "being fit for basketball". For the first six months that he lived with me Gray would only sleep on my chest and he would purr all night long. Gray died in 2002 of old age. I don't know how old he was but he lived with me for twelve years. Trudy L. Himes
