Autorenporträt
Jack Sweetman is a historian and the author, co-author, translator, editor or co-editor of 10 books and many shorter pieces in the field of naval and military history. For many years he was consulting editor of the Naval Institute's Naval History magazine, and he is a recipient of the Alfred Thayer Mahan Award for Literary Achievement and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Mr. Sweetman is co-author of the Naval Institute book Leathernecks: An Illustrated History of the U.S. Marine Corps.
