Every English classroom needs great poetry, and, arguably, every day. This is a wide-ranging selection, by a teacher of English, of poetry that is at the same time useful and wonderful. It is arranged in chronological order, with some of the editor's own more recently 'classroom tried and tested' offerings at the rear. As the selection is a personal one, some pages are left blank at the end for teachers to paste in other works that they, too, love. Summon your muse!
