Green practices in the existing buildings can help address national issues like water efficiency, energy efficiency, and reduction in fossil fuel use in commuting, handling of waste and conserving natural resources. Most importantly, these concepts can enhance occupant health, happiness and well-being.

Nitesh Dogne is an Architect and Scholar of Masters in Regional Planning from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi (Ministry of HRD Government of India) He has authored 40 research papers in Journals and Conferences at International level and has done his graduation in Architecture from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior.
