The first chapters of the volume are devoted to the use of noble and heavy metal nanoparticles in various fields of medicine: oncology, surgery, wound healing, biocidality, etc. Individual chapters are devoted to telemedicine, as well as diagnostics and treatment of bacterial and viral diseases. Issues of toxicity of nanoparticles and use of metal nanoparticles for biocidal textiles production are considered. The technology of production of nanocrystalline cellulose and production of surfactants by microbiological method is described.
