We explore the evolutionary changes of man in a world of creation. But if we're honest, we recognize man as an unfinished work and currently a "bad actor". So, we explore the "who", "what", "when", "where", "why" and "how" man got this far and what drives his behavior in this complex, complicated, and convoluted world. This book details many facets in the development of man, from humble animal beginnings to the sophisticated, citified man we see today. We'll take advantage of paleontologic and archaeologic evidence, but also explore extraterrestrial hocus pocus. We'll consider the soul as the essence of individual existence and ensoulment as the process of receiving that soul. And we'll look at what man does, might do, or has done (some that he might not be proud of - e.g., conspiracy, rebellion, and revolution) - all in the quest to know man, now and in the future.
Autorenporträt
Steve Bruttig crafted a career from military service, investigative medical science, the business of science management, consulting, and volunteering, once he retired. For a time, he was also a merchant. All of these roles caused him to observe his surroundings, life, people, science and the world. An interest in cosmology caused him to question the universe and its form and function. And his faith helped him put it all in perspective. Thus, he began to search and to write about what he saw, read or found - hence his first book, First and Foremost and now this second book, Green Legs and Man. Today, Steve is retired and writing, and lives with his wife on a small family farm in rural Nebraska. They have a son, a daughter, a son-in-law and two grandchildren.
